While the idea behind a small broadcast for the legendary event seems straightforward at first, it would allow these events to be unequivocal for players around the servers, thus giving everyone an equal chance to go out there and hunt down the most powerful pokemon there is. These announcements also incentivize competitions between pixelmon trainers to fight against each other for the ultimate prize of a legendary pokemon. This minor feature allows all players within a pixelmon server to be aware of the existence of such imperative spawns.
Pixelmon Broadcasts Mod (1.12.2) integrates a minor system, in which, legendary pokemon spawn will be announced with several messages being spread out in the chatbox.
